1.0 GENERAL
Etchell Fleet 25 of the Lake Champlain Yacht Club (LCYC) will conduct the following regattas:
E-1 June 12, 2011 (Sunday)
E-2 June 20, 2011 (Monday evening)
E-3 June 27, 2011 (Monday evening)
E-4 July 17, 2011 (Sunday)
E-5 August 21, 2011 (Sunday)
In addition, Etchells Fleet 25 will host an Etchells regatta at the Malletts Bay Boat Club on September 17-18, 2011.
2.0 RULES
The Etchells Regattas are governed by the current International Sailing Federation (ISAF) Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) including US Sailing prescriptions, this Notice of Race, the rules of the International Etchells Class and the current LCYC Sailing Instructions, except as amended by each regattas Special Sailing Instruction (as may be issued).
3.0 RACING AREA
Includes Lake Champlain and Shelburne Bay.
4.0 COURSE
The courses will be displayed from the Race Committee boat in accordance with the current LCYC Sailing Instructions. Multiple windward-leeward courses are planned. A minimum of one (1) race shall be completed to constitute a regatta.
5.0 START FOR WEEKEND E SERIES
1030 Harbor Start
1130 Etchells flag up/1 sound for Warning signal
1131 Preparatory flag up/1 sound for Preparatory signal
1134 Preparatory flag down/1 long sound One-minute to Start
1135 Etchells flag down/1 sound Start
Subsequent races will start as soon as practical following the finishing of the last boat
of the prior race. If at all possible, the weekend E Series races will be sailed on the broad lake.
5.1 START FOR MONDAY EVENING E SERIES

Subsequent races will start as soon as practical following the finishing of the last boat of the prior race. The Monday evening races will be sailed in Shelburne Bay.
6.0 RACE SCHEDULE
No weekend E Series race will be started after 1600 hrs. In addition, the weekend E Series regatta will be abandoned in the event that no races have started before 1300 hrs. Monday night E Series races will continue as late as practical, given the amount of wind and daylight.
7.0 TROPHIES
Kelemen Cup to the season overall A/B/C/D and E Series winner.
