1.0 GENERAL

The Etchells Fleet of the Lake Champlain Yacht Club (LCYC) will conduct the following regattas:

• E-1 June 20th

• E-2 July 18th

• E-3 August 22nd

In addition, the Etchells Fleet will host the Etchells New England Championship at the Malletts Bay Boat Club on September 18-19, 2010.

2.0 RULES

Each regatta is governed by the International Sailing Federation (ISAF), Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) 2009-2012 including US Sailing prescriptions, the regatta’s Notice of Race, the current year LCYC General Sailing Instructions except as amended by the regatta’s Special Sailing Instruction, and the rules of the International Etchells Class.

3.0 RACING AREA Includes Lake Champlain and Shelburne Bay.

4.0 COURSE

The courses will be displayed from the Race Committee boat in accordance with the current year LCYC General Sailing Instructions. Multiple windward-leeward courses are planned. A minimum of one (1) race shall be completed to constitute a regatta.

5.0 START

1030 Harbor Start

1130 Etchells flag up 1 sound/Warning

1131 Preparatory flag up 1 sound/Preparatory

1134 Preparatory flag down 1 long sound

1135 Etchells flag down 1 sound/Start

Subsequent races will start as soon as practical following the finishing of the last boat of the prior race.

6.0 RACE SCHEDULE

No race shall be started after 1600 hrs. In addition, the regatta will be abandoned in the event that no races have started before 1300 hrs.

7.0 TROPHIES

Kelemen Cup to the season overall A/B/C/D and E Series winner.

Fleet 25 Weekend Schedule 2010

For E Series Only: 10:30am Harbor Start. Come prepared to sail on the broad lake. No-wind abandonment deadline: 1pm.

E Series I--Sunday, June 20

E Series II--Sunday, July 18

Ladies' Cup--Saturday, August 7. Note that the Ladies' Cup will not follow the E Series protocol. See the LCYC SIs for details.

E Series III--Sunday, August 22
